MR. Charles Long

Vice President of Strategy & Technology

Mr. Charles P. Long works as the Vice President for Strategy and Technology for the New Generation Warfare Centre. Over the last two years, Mr. Long has focused his work on the strategic execution and implementation of the CONFLICT simulation within Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. Additionally, he leads the NGWC’s effort for geospatial mapping and terrain analysis via unmanned aerial vehicles. The NGWC uses this aerial imaging to continuously update its simulation offerings and analysis.

He began his work in the industry in 2015 with The Potomac Foundation following his graduation from Georgetown University. At Georgetown, Mr. Long received a B.A. in Political Science and English and graduated Magna Cum Laude with Pi Sigma Alpha and Alpha Sigma Nu honors.

Prior to his focus on CONFLICT in his current role, Mr. Long focused exclusively on Ukraine. He traveled to the Eastern Front of Ukraine in 2015 to conduct field interviews with Ukrainian Soldiers as part of an open source, 10,000+ page Ukrainian War Database effort.
